Apart from its several miles of gold sandy beach that slope gently into the sea, Cattolica has over 400 hotels and many private villas and flats. The fine sandy beach is one of only five beaches in all of Europe that is always awarded the prized blue flag, and is preferred by many Europeans over the more exotic beaches in Europe.

This is a family beach. Kids have plenty to do, games to play and activity directors to keep them occupied. The Ice cream man yells "Gelato" as he strolls down the beach walks.
